10/14/2019 · From searching your GW502 error it seems to be a very popular and common error since most links are from this year. This seems to me to indicate it might be more of a Microsoft issue.
The newest Game Ready driver seems to be the culprit for the GW502 error , 436.30. The best way to get around it currently seems to be to revert to the last driver, 436.15. Yup.
Are you running an Nvidia GPU? I think I’ve fixed it by reverting my driver’s to 436.15 instead of the current 436.30. Haven’t crashed since, so I don’t think it was the Gears update, but the driver update.
