For several months the original BT Wholesale Speed Test has been showing anything from 16 mbs to actually 0 mbs on my Infinity 2. However all other company speed tests show 72 mbs. The beta.speedtest.net shows the correct 72 mbs, so is far more accurate than the original one, which used to work well, but has lost the plot lately. 0 Ratings, The BT Wholesale test is designed to show the state of the line, which it does reasonably well (though often underestimating upload speed). The only times I have seen large differences between the two TTB download tests has been because of problems in my LAN, not because of congestion or other Openreach/BT Wholesale/ISP issues on the broadband.
